Harry Kane has broken another record at Bayern Munich after becoming the highest-scoring Englishman in the Bundesliga.

Kane found the net in the second half of Bayern's thumping win over Werder Bremen to set yet another record in Germany. Bayern were winning 2-0 at the time and Kane's strike took him beyond Jadon Sancho as the Bundesliga's top-scoring Englishman. Bayern went on to win the game 5-0; Michael Olise scored a brace, while Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry were also on the scoresheet.

Sancho scored 40 Bundesliga goals across two spells at Borussia Dortmund, doing so in 118 games. Kane, by comparison, has now scored 41 goals in just 36 games. He is likely to set a record that is almost impossible to reach if his scoring rate continues as such.

Kane has been brilliant for Bayern thus far this season and already has nine goals in all competitions in just five outings. He also has three assists, and came into this weekend's clash on the back of a four-goal haul in a 9-2 mauling of Dinamo Zagreb.
